These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of bigtentchurch.com (the “Website”), operated by The Big Tent Church (“The Big Tent Church,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. Purpose of the Website

The Website provides information, religious and creative content, music and media links, and ways to contact The Big Tent Church. We may add, remove, or change Website features and content over time.

The Website is offered for general informational, educational, inspirational, and religious purposes. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or emergency advice or services. If you are experiencing an emergency or believe someone is in immediate danger, contact 911 or the appropriate local emergency service.

2. Appropriate Use

You may use the Website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • interfere with the operation or security of the Website;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its accounts, systems, or data;
  • introduce malware, harmful code, automated scraping tools, or excessive automated requests;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
  • use contact forms to send spam, threats, harassment, unlawful material, or deceptive messages;
  • violate another person’s privacy, intellectual-property rights, or other legal rights; or
  • use Website content for an unlawful or unauthorized commercial purpose.

We may restrict or block access when reasonably necessary to protect the Website, our visitors, or others.

3. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its original content—including text, graphics, logos, design elements, sermons, recordings, music, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to The Big Tent Church and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and access Website content for personal, noncommercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, republish, sell, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission, except where allowed by law.

Some media, trademarks, music, and embedded materials belong to third parties and remain subject to their owners’ rights and terms. No ownership rights are transferred to you through your use of the Website.

4. Messages and Other Submissions

If you send us a message, prayer request, suggestion, or other material, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate these Terms or another person’s rights.

Submitting material through a private contact form does not give us ownership of it. We may use the submission as reasonably necessary to respond to you or fulfill your request, consistent with our Privacy Policy. We will not intentionally publish your name, prayer request, testimony, creative work, or other private submission without your permission, except where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect safety or legal rights.

Please do not send confidential or highly sensitive information through the Website.

5. Third-Party Content, Embeds, and Links

The Website may display or link to content and services from third parties, including YouTube, Suno, Substack, LANDR, Gumroad, Payhip, artists, and other platforms. These services are operated independently, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.

We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, security, accuracy, content, products, or practices of third-party services. A link, embed, or reference does not necessarily mean that we endorse every statement, product, or practice of the third party.

6. Products, Downloads, and Contributions

The Website may link to third-party platforms that offer products, music, downloads, tickets, memberships, or opportunities to make a contribution. Any transaction completed on a third-party platform is also governed by that platform’s terms, payment procedures, refund policy, and privacy policy.

Before completing a transaction, review the description, price, delivery terms, refund terms, and any recurring-payment information shown at checkout. Unless we expressly state otherwise, The Big Tent Church does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card information.

Do not assume that a payment or contribution is tax-deductible unless we expressly provide written confirmation that applies to that transaction. Product-specific or campaign-specific terms presented at checkout will control if they conflict with this section.

7. Children

The Website is intended for a general audience and is not directed primarily to children under 13. A child under 13 should not submit a form, join an email list, make a purchase, or provide personal information through the Website without the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children’s use of the Website and third-party services linked from it.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Website Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website at any time. We do not guarantee that the Website or any particular content will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, current, or error-free.

We may correct errors and update content without notice. We are not obligated to preserve or provide copies of Website content or visitor submissions except as required by law.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Website will meet every visitor’s needs or that all content will be complete, accurate, reliable, or free from harmful components.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Big Tent Church and the people who help operate the Website will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Website or a third-party service linked from it.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, or any other matter for which limitation is prohibited by law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal proceeding relating to these Terms or the Website must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Cowlitz County, Washington, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Website and our services change. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Website after revised Terms take effect means that you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

14. General Provisions

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement between you and The Big Tent Church concerning use of the Website, except where separate terms apply to a particular service or transaction.
